Tomato Basil Feta and Spinach Turkey Burger

This is a turkey burger done right, with savory tomato basil feta cheese and a small portion of sauteed spinach how could you go wrong. I was skeptical of turkey burgers at first because who doesn't love a good burger but when everyone else is chowing down on their beef burgers I was not one bit jealous and was filled after eating this skinny recipe. This recipe can also be easily be increased to make more servings.

Tomato Basil Feta and Spinach Turkey Burger:

Prep Time: 8 minutes Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 99% Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 Oz. Nikos Tomato Basil Feta Cheese
  • 1.5 Cups Fresh Spinach
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped White Onion
  • 1 Tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. Egg White
In a medium sauce pan saute on medium hear brown onions slightly, than add spinach, and half of the minced garlic until the spinach is wilted. Put the ground turkey, feta cheese, the sauteed spinach, rest of the minced garlic, and egg whites all together in a small bowl. Mix everything together by hand and form a burger patty.

Once the patty is made place on grill when it is around 450 degrees, cook the burger 6 minutes on each side. The burger should be white all the way through, or register at 160 degrees in the middle.

So easy and you don't have to feel guilty!
